I know this girl named Summer. She has recently been diagnosed with cancer. One pathological side effect was losing her hair from her treatment.

Every time I go to the beach, the placid sound of the waves crashing onto the sand and the bright sun soaking into my skin is very peaceful.

In Julius Caesar, Cassius has no pathos for Caesar. He does not sympathize him, and he wants him dead.

Antipathy

My antipathy toward exams is very large. I hate exams because their only purpose is to lower students' grades in their school courses. If a student has an A average in a class, they should not be required to take an exam.

Inimical: tending to obstruct or harm

In the play, Julius Caesar, Cassius is inimical with Caesar, because he tries to convince Brutus to kill Caesar.

Enamored

Enamored: In love; captivated; charmed.

In the last book of the Twilight series Breaking Dawn, Edward is enamored with Bella. He is absolutely, head over heels in love with her. She feels the same way.

Pacify

One time I was babysitting a 2 year-old kid named Jacob. One day he would not stop crying for almost 2 whole hours. Nothing could pacify him but his mother.

Acrophobia

During the summer I go to Six Flags a lot because it is my favorite place in the world. There is a really tall ride there called "Acrophobia." It is called Acrophobia because it is the tallest ride that usually people are too scared to go on because of their fear of heights.

Phobia

I am not scared of many things. I think heights are fun and I think that snakes and sharks are interesting, but I have a phobia for graveyards. They scare me to the extent that I can't go in them or near them, unless it is for a funeral of someone I know.
